Our story
We got tired of watching footage nobody had time to watch
Every academy we spoke to was already recording their games. Phones propped against bags on the floor, old camcorders on tripods, parents filming from the balcony; but amounting to nothing. Reviewing a 30-minute session takes at LEAST thirty minutes, and no coach who is running four courts at a time has thirty minutes per player.
When we actually measured it, the number was pretty bad. Coaches give somewhere around five minutes of direct attention per player, per session.
Instead, Veritas watches the session and returns the things that are tedious to count and easy to measure. How many rallies, how long they ran, which shots got played, how fast they travelled, how much court a player actually covered. What it (deliberately) does not do is tell anyone how to play. That is not its job, and it's not what we want it to become.
