Height separates the players and far court in the image. Too low and the far court becomes too few pixels, degrading tracking and shot classification. 2.5 to 3 metres works best.

Recording requires correct court geometry because all downstream measurements depend on it. The app tells you what to adjust: move back, mount higher, clean the lens, or tap corners again. You can override and record anyway, but analysis will be less reliable.

Tap the four corners yourself on the preview. Unusual line colors, strong glare, and hidden baselines usually cause automatic detection to fail.

Motion sensors detect the bump and the analysis pipeline recalibrates from that moment. A nudge won't ruin the session, but a serious knock is worth re-framing.

Stabilisation subtly warps the image to smooth motion, which is fine for watching but breaks the geometric measurements that rely on a fixed image-to-court relationship.

Around thirty minutes is the standard working length. Longer recordings work but take proportionally longer to process.

Nothing is lost. Uploads are chunked and resumable. They continue in the background, survive the app being closed, and pick up from the last completed chunk.

Accuracy depends on capture quality. Every session includes shuttle detection rate, average shot confidence, and frames analysed. A well-framed session on a well-lit court is materially more accurate than a poorly framed one, and the stat sheet shows you which you got.

Nine types: serve, smash, drop, lift, drive, block, push, toss, and net shot. Each gets a count, percentage of the session, and confidence score.

Court geometry maps the image to real-world coordinates. Shuttle trajectories are fitted in real court space, so speed in km/h is measured from actual distance over actual time, not from screen appearance.

Yes. Sessions can be marked as 1v1, 1v2, 1v3, drills, or a match, and the court heatmap uses full doubles dimensions. Per-player stats are most reliable with fewer players.

An admin generates a single-use invite link. The player opens it, sees which academy they're joining, and claims their profile. Links expire and can't be guessed.

Yes. Select the player before recording and the session goes to their profile. This is how most academy sessions get captured.
