As of the date above, RunPaceLab has no affiliate relationships, sponsored content, or advertising. All calculators and guides are free and unsponsored. No product recommendations on this site are paid placements.
Future policy
If RunPaceLab ever enters into any commercial relationship — including affiliate links, display advertising, sponsored content, or partnerships — the following policy will apply:
- Affiliate links: Any link to a product or service where RunPaceLab receives a commission will be marked with a visible disclosure (e.g., "affiliate link" or "sponsored") adjacent to the link. A note will also appear on the page where the link appears.
- Display advertising: If display ads (such as Google AdSense) are added, this page will be updated to state that. The site will not run ad code that blocks content loading or degrades reading experience.
- Sponsored content: Any article or guide that has been paid for by a third party will be clearly labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page. RunPaceLab does not accept sponsored content that makes factual claims we cannot independently verify.
- Product reviews: If products are reviewed after receiving them free of charge or on loan, this will be disclosed in the article.
Editorial independence
Commercial relationships do not influence editorial content. Calculator implementations and formula explanations are based on primary sources regardless of whether any product from the formula’s domain has an affiliate relationship.
FTC compliance (US readers)
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). When affiliate links are added, they will be disclosed per FTC guidelines.
